Each month, the Pohnpei Fishing Club organizes the monthly fishing tournament encouraging avid fishermen and interested individuals to sign up.
With over 100 members, the club hopes more people joins in on the action.
On February 27, the club hosted another fishing tournament sponsored by the Western Central Pacific Fisheries Commission where the Vice President of the Club brought in the biggest catch of the day – a 77.5-pound marlin.
The club officers expressed that it was a good day of fishing, but it was rough.
