Local students under the College Readiness Summer Institute Program (CRISP) last week helped beautify the community as part of their program.
Under this community service project, the students utilized used tires as soil pots and planted trees at the Belau National Hospital and the Ministry of Education. According to the students, the project also helps to beautify the island prior to the hosting of the 45th Pacific Islands Forum.
CRISP is a program that prepares local students for college entrance. There about 37 students registered under this summer program.
