Palau’s Attorney General’s office has filed charges against another individual in relation to the ATT Karaoke Bar and Disco human trafficking and prostitution case.
On January 13, 2014, the AG’s office filed criminal charges against Philippine national Mary Claire Batiancila for committing perjury during a deposition at the Supreme Court on Friday January 10, what is ed 2014.
In addition to Batiancila, the AG’s office in a press release to the media also disclosed that Peleliu State Governor Temmy Shmull also faces a criminal charge of soliciting prostitution. Batiancila is facing charges of perjury and prostitution.
According to the AG’s office, criminal charges of prostitution reportedly occurred numerous times primarily at the ATT Bar in Malakal.
