The Republic of China is in the process of making arrangements for the delivery of 60 prefabricated homes to Palau to assist families displaced by Super Typhoon Haiyan.
ROC Ambassador to Palau Maggie Tien revealed the information during a recent donation handover ceremony.
Arrangements are still being made between the Republic and the ROC for the delivery of these homes.
Reconstruction of homes damaged and destroyed by Haiyan according to calculations totaled more than $3 million dollars.
Online news from the Republic of China indicate that the temporary housing units will be loaded aboard a Navy vessel.
The units are expected to reach Palau on December 18, 2013.
This assistance would greatly help the Republic in providing temporary housing to dozens of families who lost their homes by the force of Typhoon Haiyan.
