A local hotel may be facing criminal charges for allegedly buying and serving illegal fish.
A source close to this case confirms that Palau Vacation Hotel was allegedly found sometime ago, buying and serving, illegal fish, specifically humphead parrotfish and napoleon wrasse.
The new hotel, which has been a subject of controversy for its sewage facility issue, is now under hot waters for openly buying and then serving these protected species to their customers, who are mostly made up of Asian tourists.
