Two new microbuses were recently donated to Palau High School through the government of Japan. The microbuses were handed over to the school on January 9th during a brief ceremony.
The buses will address transportation issues for students participating in work-base activities outside of school grounds.
The buses were procured through “the project for procurement of Microbuses for Palau High School” under Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects valued at $94,000.
School officials, students and government officials witnessed the handover.
