A woman who made headlines after her family reported her missing in Arizona has been found.
Tempe police officers found 23-year-old woman who was reported missing last week.
Niorekin Kansou from the Federated States of Micronesia was found safe by authorities.
Police officers did not release any further details about the case, specify where, or how she was found. Kansou and her family were visiting relatives in Tempe, Arizona when she went missing from a relative’s home.
According to reports from Arizona’s Fox 2 News, Tempe police considered Kansou in danger because she speaks Chuukese and very little English.
The family reported that Kansou’s behavior, before she went missing, seemed odd and that she seemed preoccupied or distracted.
