The Pohnpei Fishing Club in June organized its monthly fishing tournament sponsored by Petro Corp where Dr. Hook won the competition with a 351-pound blue marlin.
Steve Finnen of the Fishing Club says the turn out was great with 15 boats registered and encourages fishermen and residents of Pohnpei to participate.
Ray Panuelo of Dr. Hook, who was named the champion of the month, says the event was fun and took nearly 45 minutes to haul up the big catch.
