Palau to host upcoming Micronesian Presidents’ Summit – VIDEO

The Republic of Palau is set to host the 13th Micronesian Presidents’ Summit scheduled for July this year.
The Summit, which compromises of the heads of states of the Federated States of Micronesia, Palau and the Marshall Islands, will bring the leaders together to discuss a number of issues of mutual and regional importance such as the Micronesian Challenge and the Compact impact.
Climate change is also among the discussions particularly from the RMI President and its delegation.
RMI President Christopher Loeak upon his attendance will also discuss the upcoming 44th Pacific Islands Forum meeting that the neighboring island nation will be hosting this September.
The two-day meeting begins on July 10th at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center.
