More than a dozen Pacific Island nations took part in the 350.org’s Pacific Warrior Day of Action on March 2nd to spread the message that “we are not drowning, we are fighting”.
Traditional warrior dances, songs and unique war challenges were taken place across the Pacific to tell the world that the time for climate action is now.
The Warrior Day of Action jump-started the Pacific Islands “100 percent Possible To Be Heard” campaign launched at the conclusion of the Power Shift New Zealand Pacific Climate Summit in December 2012.
350 Pacific is a youth-led climate change volunteer network in the Pacific.
